About Us

The 896 Story: Built on the Back Fields at the University of Delaware

896 Lacrosse was founded in 2025 by two former teammates with a shared passion for the game and a deep appreciation for what it teaches beyond the field. After years in the club circuit, we saw a gap between simply rolling out the balls and delivering intentional, elite development, and a need for reps that truly matter. Our philosophy was shaped on the back fields at the University of Delaware, where we built our games through consistent work, competition, and a commitment to improvement over time. That experience inspired us to create an environment rooted in high energy, low pressure, and purposeful training. 896 exists to give back to the local lacrosse community by providing driven shooters and goalies a place to grow, compete, and develop the right way.
